Applications are assessed at board meetings held approximately every quarter.
Applications must fall within the Society's charitable objectives (see below). They should also meet as many of the criteria listed below as possible.

Charitable Objectives of the British Omani Society
Please note, all accepted grantees will be issued with a Grant Contract which they should sign. At the conclusion of the Project, the Recipient will be required to fill in a Post Project Assessment Form. This helps us track the impact of our grant funded projects. Grantees will also be asked to share content from their project, which should include short video clips, photos and a written or recorded piece, for the Society to showcase the project. This content may appear on the Society’s blog, social media and in other Society promotional materials, and will be subject to approval of the Society’s editor.
