Sarika is a consultant in the field of international relations. She first moved to Oman with her family aged 18 and spent her gap year working at the Al Harub Medical Centre and Let’s Read bookshop. Sarika studied Psychology and Middle Eastern Studies at Exeter University, working at the Omani British Friendship Association (now Omani British Society) during her year abroad, and carrying out her final year dissertation research in Oman.

Sarika first worked at the British Omani Society as an Intern in early 2020 and later returned as Business Operations Manager. She joined the team of Trustees in 2025. Her job as a consultant primarily involves writing policy papers on geopolitics, but she has also coordinated Oman-related photography and film projects and supported Oman’s representation at international events.

Sarika splits her time between Qurm, Muscat and Whitechapel, London.
