As Director of the British Omani Society, Michelle Potts is dedicated to strengthening UK–Oman relations through dialogue, cultural exchange, and strategic partnerships. She brings extensive experience from senior roles in cultural relations and membership organisations, including the British Council, where she led education initiatives and strategic partnerships across South Asia. Michelle has worked closely with governments, business leaders, and cultural institutions to foster collaboration and exchange, and has directed large-scale transformation and growth programmes with a strong focus on the Middle East and Gulf region. Her career also includes leadership positions in global membership bodies, driving international business development and member engagement in Oman and the wider Gulf.
