Ahead of the official Live Oman in London 2026 roadshow, pre-event talks are being hosted at the British Omani Society on Wednesday 16th September. Representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Sultanate of Oman will be present to talk through Oman's landmark residential and investment projects, ahead of the wider public activation. Register your attendance here.

Oman Comes to the Heart of London

From 21 September to 4 October 2026, London will host LIVE OMAN, an ambitious initiative designed to showcase the Sultanate’s urban development, property and investment opportunities to an international audience. Taking place at Future Stores on Oxford Street under the theme “Reimagine Your Future”, the campaign brings Oman’s investment proposition directly to the British market. Rather than focusing solely on property, LIVE OMAN presents a broader vision of the Sultanate as a destination in which to live, invest, establish businesses and participate in long-term economic growth.

For members of the British Omani Society, the initiative is particularly significant. London provides a natural platform from which to deepen the already strong commercial and investment links between the United Kingdom and Oman, while introducing a wider British audience to the opportunities emerging from the Sultanate’s continuing transformation.

Showcasing Oman’s Urban Transformation

LIVE OMAN will bring together leading Omani developers and some of the Sultanate’s most prominent urban projects. Among the developments being showcased are Sultan Haitham City, A’Thuraya City and Muscat Bay, alongside investment opportunities connected with Oman’s free zones and other emerging developments. These projects reflect the wider ambitions of Oman Vision 2040 and the considerable changes taking place across the country’s urban landscape. New communities are increasingly being conceived around sustainability, quality of life, modern infrastructure and economic diversification.

The initiative is therefore intended to go beyond the conventional international property exhibition. In addition to its Oxford Street presence, LIVE OMAN will engage directly with prospective investors, buyers and decision-makers through business meetings and targeted sessions across London. More than 55 strategic locations are being targeted, including private members’ clubs, luxury hotels and wealth management offices in Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Belgravia.

More Than an Investment Destination

An important part of the LIVE OMAN message is that the Sultanate’s attraction extends beyond financial returns. The campaign highlights Oman’s combination of security, stability, natural environment and quality of life alongside its expanding economic opportunities. Oman has more than 2,000 kilometres of coastline and extensive commercial connections with markets across Asia, Africa and Europe. The campaign also highlights the Sultanate’s high international ranking for quality of life and its reputation as one of the world’s safer and more stable countries.

For international property investors, LIVE OMAN will also draw attention to opportunities for freehold ownership in designated investment areas and property-linked residency options available to qualifying investors and their families. These measures form part of a wider effort to make Oman increasingly accessible to international residents and investors.

Strengthening UK–Oman Investment Links

The decision to launch LIVE OMAN in London is itself significant. The initiative is being coordinated with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in London, including engagement with British investment organisations and stakeholders. The campaign builds upon the longstanding relationship between Oman and the United Kingdom while giving that relationship a distinctly forward-looking dimension. As Oman continues to diversify its economy and develop new cities, tourism destinations and commercial centres, British investors, businesses and professional advisers are well placed to participate in the opportunities arising from that transformation.

LIVE OMAN also represents an interesting change in how the Sultanate promotes itself internationally. Instead of waiting for investors to discover opportunities in Oman, the initiative takes Oman directly to international markets and places its developers and projects in front of prospective investors and decision-makers.

Looking Ahead

LIVE OMAN offers London an opportunity to see a changing Oman: a country combining its distinctive culture, natural environment and renowned stability with an increasingly ambitious programme of urban and economic development. Under the banner “Reimagine Your Future”, the campaign seeks to present Oman not simply as somewhere to visit, but as somewhere to live, invest and build for the future.

For the British Omani Society and its members, LIVE OMAN provides another welcome illustration of the growing depth of UK–Oman relations and the increasing opportunities for British and Omani individuals, businesses and investors to contribute to the next chapter of that relationship.
