The British Omani Society was incredibly proud to welcome the Omani Student Committee to our offices in London on the 6th December for their own celebrations for Oman National Day.
We were joined by Omani students and PhD researchers studying in London, along with their spouses and children for a student led fun filled family gathering with traditional Omani snacks, presentations and activities. We were also delighted to host the Cultural Attache, Dr Abeer, who delivered a speech to all those present.
The event showcased how the Society can act a home away from home for Omanis in the UK. We also had the opportunity to give a short presentation about the Society's history and current activities to the students.
We look forward to continuing our support of Oman's student community in the UK over the coming year.
