The Society has just published our new events programme!
Our latest programme has something for everyone with an interest in Oman, be it fledgling or fully formed. Talks, screenings, lectures, food and music. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn, network and socialise as you come together and join us to explore the unique culture of Oman.
You will be hearing from both UK and Omani experts, who will give you a flavour of the country, both contemporary and historical. They will cover diverse subjects, ranging from Oman’s unique school of Ibāḍī Islam to its internationally important coastal wetlands and unique flora. You will hear from World Record breakers, authors and explorers, scholars, musicians and academics.
