Mangroves are one of Oman's nature superheroes. They shield shorelines from storms, create jobs and food security for coastal communities, capture carbon, and are critical habitats for wildlife including many breeding birds and marine species. At this lecture our speakers, two distinguished Omani field scientists, will tell us exactly why it is vital that we work to protect and restore mangroves and coastal ecosystems, for people and the planet.
