Communications Manager Job Advertisement
The British Omani Society is looking for a Communications Manager to join the team and be responsible for managing all marketing and communications and contribute to events programming/activities.
The Society’s primary mission is to deepen and expand on the close relationship between the UK and Oman in line with our charitable objects. For the Communications Manager, this will involve building on our existing marketing strategy to expand our membership and raise awareness of our offering to wider audiences. The role holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to events programming and develop other activities alongside the rest of the team. They will manage our current schemes for young people, including the Gap Year and Arabic Language Schemes.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small friendly collaborative team, reporting to the Director. They will also work closely with the BOS Board of Trustees and Oman and British Embassies. They will line manage the Management Assistant (intern), who also supports the Director.
Responsibilities Include:
The Executive team at the Society work closely together on all projects, so you will get involved in activities that are also related to the Omani British Business Council when deemed appropriate by the Director.
